No Reason to Despair.....

A. W. Tozer said,

"The hard work of prayer is getting yourself into a state of mind in which you prefer the will of God over your own."

and, Nebuchadnezzar said,

"He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; and no one can ward off His hand, or say to Him, "What have You done?" (Daniel 4:34-35).

Finally, Steve Farrar (in Overcoming Overload) had this to say:

"There is no reason to despair. The Sovereign is your Savior."
Amen.

Now that I'm over my initial disappointment, I can really appreciate these words today.

I suspect most of knew this would be the outcome. Now we just get on with it. At the least, it should be very interesting!

Those are good Words, Bev. I know all that, and keep reminding myself of all that, and yet, I went to bed with such a heavy heart last night. I was not prepared for the effect it had on my emotions. This is a new day, though, and I will meditate on the things you shared.
