Blueberry Coffeecake - Balm for the Soul...

My blogging friend, Renna recently mentioned a blog to me that I hadn't yet visited.

I guess she just knew I was going to need that this month.

Maybe you've already heard of her, and if so, then lucky you. Deb at Homespun Living has a blogsite so wonderful, I found myself sighing in contentment within seconds of going there. It's the kind of blog I could get lost in, spending endless hours going over her archives, making notes of this recipe or that pattern, or just enjoying seeing the world through her eyes for a little while.

I immediately told my daughter, Sarah and my sister, Barb about her place, and both of them completely agree with me.

And they haven't even tasted the Blueberry coffeecake yet. (Click on the word 'here' toward the end of the post.) But I have. And Deb is right, it's better the second day when the blueberries have given up a bit more of their juice, letting it soak into the cake.

One 9 x 13 pan of blueberry coffeecake, shared by only two - now that's the right way to start off any week. And when I find myself heading for the cabinet to take a few more ibuprofen, I think I'll just stop and take a break, spending it going over Deb's archives instead. It's that good, really.

Thanks for the new link, Bev. I heart blueberries, and they're about to be in season really soon around here.
