Sweet Gift...

Remember this?

We're having a birthday breakfast tomorrow morning for one of my girlfriends. Choosing gifts I tend to follow the rule of "if I would like to receive it, they probably would too." So I grabbed this sweet cotton knitted washcloth and a bottle of nice soap. Searching for wrapping paper I realized, just a bit of squiggly ribbon woven through the holes and it was ready to go!

Pure sweetness I think. Hopefully she will too.

I had no idea I was coming over, but I love it! I'll be sure and act surprised. LOL

Drat.

It's not my b'day.

And I don't live in PA.

But I think she will LURVE the gift and appreciate the time and creativity that went into making it.

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. And this is one of them. Nice choice!

YES! That is a Green Gift if ever I saw one. I never wrap anymore. In fact, I'll post later this week about a bridal shower gift I am giving. It includes knitted dishcloths too.

Lovely!

That's a perfect way to wrap such a gift!

After reading your blog, I've started knitting and crocheting dish cloths too. They're short projects, and practical, the ideal project for me. Thanks for the inspiration!

It looks darling, and I think would please anyone! Plus, she'll be reminded of you each time she uses it.

Absolutely as sweet as can be. Anyone would be tickled to pieces to receive that adorable gift.

Anyone. Hint. Hint. :-)

How cute and creative!! She will love it!!

If ever I am second-guessing a gift choice, Mark always asks me if I would like to receive it as a gift and if so, then the recipient will, too. Good rule of thumb!!

Have a fun birthday breakfast with your friends!

Love and blessings,
Karen

I am copying this wonderful idea. I'm just about finished making my first dish rag with cotton yarn and need a gift for my daughter's twin. My daughter will turn 9 on Friday and one of her grandmother's best friends' birthday is the same day. They think of themselves as twins seperated by decades.
I went to Bath and Body work and got the sweetest little soap and am all ready for friday now.
Thanks for the great idea!!
