FREE Sells, Every Time!

We did not need this queen sized futon, and there wasn't room for it's cousin, the twin chair that matched. It was taking up room in the front bedroom that has the privilege of becoming my office / crafting / sewing room. So it had to go. Before the moving van arrives.
Craigs List - bless your pea-pickin' heart.Within five minutes of posting an ad that these items needed a new home, and the price was FREE, I received four calls. Lining up to pick it up.

I asked the first guy that called, can you guarantee you'll be there Sunday afternoon, with something big enough to take it?

'Yes ma'am, I can.'That works for me, and don't you love the south, where they just automatically say 'ma'am?

If Craig's List also finds someone to buy the slate pool table that is taking up the entire loft, and they're willing to haul it out of there, then we'll be dancing a jig for sure.

I know some people out there are Free Cycle fans, but so far I've found that posting something under the FREE category on Craig's List gets quick results. Next best thing, dragging it to the curb and turning out the porch lights...

Craigs List is genius, pure and simple. We divested ourselves of some lovely twin beds and aquired a glider for the baby's room courtesy of Craig and his magical list.

Happy lake house to you!!

You've made it to the other side of the wild adventure. I can almost hear the relief in your happy "voice" this a.m.

We have one of those futons. I'd get rid of it, but the mattress is a nice one, and my kids are at the age where they multiply in kind, so I think I may trudge it out to the beach house for some sleepovers.

Prayed for you this morning. I hope you are soon making plans to get back "home" to your hubby. I'm sure he is about tied in knots without you.

I have never used Craig's list but I will keep that in mind for sure.
