Is there anything as sweet as a little one in the tub? Our condo came with this garden style tub, and the last water bill reflects my deep affection for it!
The last time Landon came over to play, I asked him if he'd like to swim in Grammy's bathtub. His answer - yes! (I personally thought it was brilliant, offering it up as swimming rather than 'Momma said you got dirty at the fair last night and could use a bath'!)
And thank you, God, not only that I got to raise a son, but that he left his toys behind for all those grandsons of ours to play with.
The ring left in the tub afterwards? Made me to smile to remember days gone by, when my own son came home after playing in the dirt all day and soaked off enough crud to support a houseplant.
Since it was early, he decided to have breakfast pool-side. Only a few fell in and they floated around, looking very merry. I think he only ate a couple of those...
Next sweetest thing? What they smell like, when you scoop them out and rub them down with a big, fluffy towel. One sniff of their little neck holds more goodness than I can say.

He looks like a big boy! I need to see him soon!
I was thinking the same thing as Sarah. He's turning into a little boy.
What an incredible grammy you are...always making things into fun. I think we must be too tired to do this with our own kids or something, though I know we all try. But grandmothering...Cannot wait. Well, actually, I can, just sayin...
Swimming in Grammie's tub. Brilliant!
What a little cutie! Your grandchildren have such a store house of special memories with you, what a blessing:-)
You can't beat a big bathtub for a little boy to "swim" in! And all those toys you saved will bring a lifetime of joy will this little boy, too!
Every single thing about this post just warms my heart. He couldn't be more adorable.
And your tub? I'd eat ALL my meals in that tub because I don't think I'd ever get out of it. xoxoxo
