The conference was great, a very fun place to spend our anniversary. We ate dinner Friday night, which consisted of Subway, in the usher's closet. A memorable anniversary dinner anyway!
After the Saturday morning session was over we grabbed Chinese food, and after a quick afternoon nap, we'll be back at church. Both of us feel like we've had maybe a little bit much of church for one weekend, but that's okay. It was fun to reconnect with our church family who attend Sunday services. Most of them thought we'd already high-tailed it to Texas. It was such fun to see the building teeming with couples of all ages and shapes and sizes, lots of singles too. There's a class starting up soon, based on the Love and Respect material, that we may take advantage of.
In the meantime, this was waiting at the doorstep for me yesterday. After sending me flowers for Valentine's Day he sure could have gotten away without sending these.
Maybe that man didn't even need to go to a marriage conference. Seems to me like he's doing pretty well. And the smell? Heavenly!

I'd say he's doing mighty well, and you both have scored in finding each other & appreciating what you've been given.
What beautiful spring colors! Roses are the best.
Oh, man! You are so right. He knows his STUFF!! Good job Don!
And a very very happy anniversary to you both. Here's to 28 more!! And I'll meet you back her next week to celebrate ours :)
Oh my WORD! Those are some of the prettiest roses I've ever seen! Gorgeous! And it's so rare to get florist roses these days that have a scent so that's a definite plus!
Yep, I'd say he's a keeper. :o)
Happy Sunday!
Love and hugs,
Diane
