Stones from the Flowerbeds

Yesterday I came up with a way to use the stones I'd picked up from the perennial beds at the lakehouse.

A stone or two, with my 'Verse of the Year' written on it, scattered around the house to hold down mail or debit slips, or even a recipe I'm using, should be a great way to call it to mind.

Inspired! I have, since childhood, had a THING for rocks and smooth stones and in fact, have some on my kitchen shelf right this minute. I can't resist picking them up. Yes, I have even paid money for a rock. I will definitely be using this idea and scattering them about. How nice it will be to come across them.

I'm copying this idea. My kids just painted rocks this week during crafts with Nana. I'm going to take a few and write my LPM memory verse of the month on them.

Great idea, and extra special since they are a reminder of your lake house.

Happy New Year!
