Sabbath Resting Again

It's been a very full week around here. Our home went on the market Monday and we've had a number of showings. Jeremy and Leslie continue to plow through getting their home ready to move in, and we've been helping them with yardwork and interior painting. (It's looking great!)

So today - start with this:

It looks like perfect staging, but we're planning to eat up a good bit of it! Nothing is homemade, just baked with love. He'll think it's just fine, with a cup of coffee and the paper sitting next to it.

Then a bit of basic tending the nest cleaning, and we're off to see a movie.

Back home to whip up my sister, Barb's recipe of chicken fettuccini alfredo and watch something on TV while I do some knitting.

Should be just what the doctor ordered to get us ready for another busy week. Hope your Sunday is just as nice.

It sounds like a lovely sabbath to me Bev. What movie? We haven't been to the movies in such a long time.
I didn't get to comment, but I loved your post about supporting each of our grown children at different times. We have found that to be true too.
One of the great blessings of this time of life - besides those precious grandchildren they've given us - is seeing the amazing people our children have grown up to be.
