Oh My It's Nasty Out There

So it's a mess here - cold and frozen and we don't even know what to do with it. This poor tree stands outside the library, looking brave but I feel badly for it.

As I drove through the McD's drive-up the manager was out with a shovel, trying to break up ice so the delivery semi could pull in tomorrow. Good luck with that. That brick building at the back is completely encased in ice.

Feel free to park your bike  here....

Here's how we move snow in the east. Piles and piles and piles of snow. We're just about out of places to make another pile. Drat that groundhog, and come on March 21 already!

We've got the same kind of nastiness here in Central Ohio! I'm so done with winter already!!

yuckkky weather---I like a "little" snow--meaning like 3 or 4 days a year of snow would be so fun to me-- But YUCK---you guys have had such nasty weather this winter---at least you all stayed safe and warm! You know for me-- it doesn't snow enough in Texas and it snows way to much and it's too cold in PA---oh well--at least you can build snowmen and drink hot chocolate in PA and go swimming, have a limemade, and get a great tan in Texas. :)

Nasty doesn't even describe that well enough. Stay warm and safe!

My bones feel cold, just looking at your photos! No thanks; I'll keep my summers if that means I also get days in February that are 50 degrees and sunny!

I cannot even imagine the mountains of snow you must have. We still have snow here and that is amazing to me. Small piles in parking lots, and rouge piles in yards that get no sun all day. Where in the world would you put all that snow y'all have had?

Well, I think at least when Texas gets snow ... and we all know that of course it does ... it melts quickly.

Hey ... This makes is a great year to retire to the south. It would have been awful to retire with a mild and beautiful winter in Penn.

Ugh. Very accurate. I'm at the point where I've stopped trying to catch the weather on the local news -- because I'm oh-so-tired of hearing them say, "another 1-2 inches tonight" or "expect 4-8 additional inches by tomorrow evening" or other horrid things. Spring, please come quickly!

Stupid Punxsutawney Phil.

Though we've had a great winter, for once (*ducks out of the way*).
