Hasn't Looked Back

As soon as this rolled off the truck, he grabbed those safety glasses of his and climbed right on. I would have had no idea how to even start the thing, but he fired it right up and took off. 'Tried it out' for about two hours...

He said he's having fun, and never thinks about work. Doesn't miss it O.N.E.B.I.T.
As hard as he's working, digging up trees, putting in flower beds, it's probably good we got him a new toy. I like the look of this a whole lot more than him driving off in a car every morning.

He just seems so full of joy. So full. I am so excited for you both. To still be young enough and healthy enough to fully enjoy retirement is a great gift. Well done!

Oh, keep forgetting to tell you that I had a dream about you the other night. And my youngest son was there. He's 19 but in the dream he was about 2. The three of us, you, me and Ethan were stranded because of the volcano in Iceland, and you volunteered to fly us to our destination. You piloted the plane.

We crashed. In water. We were fine though. You saved the day.

So, ya want to go on a trip ????

My husband is retiring soon and we are moving back to our hometown. I have been reading all of your posts about your move with great interest. I cried at the one about the dryer :o(
Anyway, I will soon be walking in your footsteps and I am grateful for your emotional honesty
I also love quilts and have a nice little collection. We went to the Houston International Quilt show last october and it was wonderful!

It's so nice to see you getting settled in. I hope all the problems are behind you and it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Have a wonderful weekend.

It's a good thing he has those safety glasses. All those stories of death by flying twigs had me worried until I saw this picture!

I've never seen a guy on one of those that didn't look happy. Glad to see he is enjoying his retirement.
